The pricing details for the Mahindra BE 6 were revealed recently. Previously, the starting price was set at ₹18.90 lakh, ex-showroom, with the highest variant priced at ₹26.90 lakh. In this latest announcement, Mahindra has disclosed the prices for the remaining variants of the electric SUV. The BE 6 is offered in five trim levels: Pack One, Pack One Above, Pack Two, Pack Three Select, and Pack Three.
The BE 6 Pack Two is priced at ₹21.90 lakh, ex-showroom, which aligns it with the higher-end variants of the Tata Curvv EV and the Hyundai Creta Electric. It is important to highlight that the Mahindra BE 6 Pack Two is categorized as the mid-spec variant of the electric SUV, yet it boasts an impressive array of features. The Mahindra BE 6 Pack Two is equipped with a variety of exterior features, such as sequential turn indicators, a startup lighting sequence, front fog lamps, cornering lamps, and auto booster lamps. Furthermore, the mid-spec variant includes front parking sensors.
Inside the vehicle, the cabin is adorned with soft fabric upholstery. It is also fitted with a 16-speaker Harman-Kardon audio system featuring Dolby Atmos, alongside convenient amenities like an NFC key for keyless entry, rear air conditioning vents, and a rear parcel shelf. Regarding safety and driver assistance, the BE 6 is outfitted with Level-2 ADAS, which incorporates one radar and one camera to provide enhanced driving support, including adaptive cruise control.
Mahindra BE 6 Pack Two: Specs
The Mahindra BE 6 Pack Two is equipped solely with a 59 kWh battery pack, which, while smaller, is notably larger than those found in competing models within the same segment. Mahindra asserts that this battery pack can achieve a range of 535 km. Moreover, it supports DC fast charging at a maximum rate of 175 kW, enabling the battery to be charged from 20 percent to 80 percent in an estimated 20 minutes.
Featuring a rear-wheel-drive configuration, the Mahindra BE 6 Pack Two generates a peak output of 230 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. It also offers various driving modes, including Range, Everyday, and Race, along with a Boost mode and a One-pedal drive mode.
