The first edition of Generation Speed 2025 is scheduled to occur at the Aamby Valley Air Strip, located near Lonavala, on February 22 and 23, 2025. This event, organized by the founders of India Bike Week, seeks to unite motorsport aficionados, collectors of cars and bikes, and adventure enthusiasts for a weekend dedicated to speed and performance. The festival is designed to cater to a diverse audience, featuring over 200 iconic vehicles on display.
Generation Speed will showcase a carefully curated collection of cars, including Indian Formula racers, rally cars, drag cars, and classic sports cars. Attendees will have the opportunity to view modified vehicles selected through a nationwide scouting initiative, as well as rare supercars in the "Speed Shikhari's Den," and racing motorcycles from Hero Motorsports and Royal Enfield. A special exhibition lap will provide visitors with the chance to see these vehicles in action, and guided tours of the displays will be accessible to the public.
Prominent figures in motorsport, such as Rohit Isaac, Vicky Chandhok, Veer Sheth, Sanjay Takale, and Adil Darukhanawala, will be in attendance, alongside champions of rally and endurance racing. The festival also aims to promote the role of women in motorsport, featuring drivers like Aashi Hanspal and Kajal Prajapati, who will share their insights and experiences.
