Chinese automaker BYD has introduced the refreshed Atto 3 electric SUV for the year 2025. This updated version, specifically tailored for the Chinese market, features revised aesthetics, improved safety attributes, and various enhancements. Since its debut in 2022, BYD has consistently updated the Atto 3, and the latest iteration presents a refined update for the upcoming model year.
2025 BYD Atto 3: Key Enhancements
The 2025 BYD Atto 3 has undergone subtle styling modifications to achieve a more premium look. The trapezoidal grille on the front bumper has been enlarged and is now accompanied by sleeker air intakes. The headlamp assembly remains unchanged, preserving the unique chrome strip that links the headlights. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with new 18-inch alloy wheels as part of the refresh. At the rear, a redesigned roof spoiler with dual brake lights has been introduced, along with a revamped rear bumper. The taillights have also been updated, featuring a new interweaving LED design with dynamic turn signals.
The Atto 3 facelift introduces significantly enhanced Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which now incorporate a greater number of cameras and sensors for improved accuracy. A notable enhancement in the updated BYD Atto 3 is the advancement of its ADAS. This safety feature is now equipped with a three-block camera positioned beneath the windshield, complemented by four surround-view cameras, five long-range cameras, five millimetre-wave radars, twelve ultrasonic radars, and a total of twenty-nine sensors. BYD refers to this system as the God’s Eye C (DiSus 100) driving assistance system. Additionally, the revamped SUV is capable of supporting ten high-speed navigation scenarios and six intelligent parking modes.
The Atto 3 facelift is anticipated to enter the Indian market at a future date.
Regarding the 2025 BYD Atto 3's battery and range, the company has yet to disclose details about the interior of the updated model. The overall design is expected to remain largely unchanged, with minor adjustments to the upholstery and features. Mechanically, the electric SUV is likely to retain the same battery and motor configurations. The Atto 3 available in India is equipped with a 60.5 kWh LFP battery pack, offering a range of 420 km (WLTP) on a single charge. The lower variants feature a 49.9 kWh battery pack, introduced last year, which provides a range of 345 km (WLTP) on a single charge. Both variants are powered by a single electric motor, delivering 201 bhp and 310 Nm of peak torque. BYD updated the Atto 3 last year in accordance with the model's global refresh. The new Atto 3 is also expected to be available in the Indian market with these subtle modifications. However, there is currently no specified timeline for its arrival in India.Read Also: Honda CG 160 Design Patented – Is an India Launch on the Cards?Get the latest Bollywood entertainment news, trending celebrity news, latest celebrity news, new movie reviews, latest entertainment news, latest Bollywood news, and Bollywood celebrity fashion & style updates!
