The Hyundai Insteroid Concept has been introduced as a forward-thinking electric vehicle that incorporates gaming elements and offers extensive customization options. This concept was showcased during the 'Night Garage Party' at Peaches D8NE in Seoul. The Hyundai Insteroid Concept will also be displayed at the Seoul Mobility Show from April 3 to April 13. Although it remains a concept model, it indicates the company's interest in exploring a new design trajectory and enhancing user engagement in electric vehicles.

The term "Insteroid" is a fusion of "Inster" and "steroid," symbolizing a robust, bold, and dynamic identity. The Insteroid builds upon the Hyundai Inster, an electric vehicle introduced last year, while enhancing its design and performance attributes.

This vehicle boasts a more aggressive and wider stance, featuring elements such as a raised rear spoiler and integrated air intakes within the wheel arches to optimize aerodynamics. Its edge-style wheels are designed for track performance, emphasizing both speed and agility. The Insteroid stands out visually with its striking white exterior complemented by vibrant orange accents, reflecting a sporty character.

Hyundai Insteroid: A minimalist yet advanced interior

Inside, the Insteroid showcases a minimalist yet practical design approach. The cockpit is equipped with bucket seats, a roll cage, and a specialized gauge cluster to enhance the high-performance driving experience. Hyundai has utilized a 3D knit fabric made from recycled materials to minimize waste and further its sustainability initiatives. Every element within the cabin is fully adjustable, aligning with Hyundai's dedication to ongoing innovation, encapsulated in the motto: "Build it, play it, break it, repeat."

One of the Insteroid's distinct features is the integration of interactive components. The design features elements such as the Beat House audio system and Message Grid, enabling drivers to customize their experience. Hyundai has also introduced a Drift Mode, meant to give the driving experience a fun touch. The car features a distinct sound signature to boost driver interaction.
