The Hyundai Creta lineup has received a fresh update for the 2025 model year, introducing new variants and features. Two new variants have been added: the EX (O) and the SX Premium. Additionally, the top-tier SX(O) trim has been enhanced with new features.

The new Hyundai Creta EX(O) is positioned above the EX trim and is priced at ₹12.97 lakh for the petrol version and ₹14.56 lakh for the diesel variant, both ex-showroom. If you're looking at the IVT transmission for petrol or the automatic for diesel, those are priced at ₹14.37 lakh and ₹15.96 lakh, respectively. This variant also boasts a panoramic sunroof and LED reading lights in the cabin.

The SX Premium trim, which slots between the SX and SX (O), starts at ₹16.18 lakh for the petrol manual. The IVT option for the petrol engine is priced at ₹17.68 lakh, while the diesel variant begins at ₹17.77 lakh, though there's no automatic option for the diesel in this trim.

In terms of features, the Creta SX Premium comes with front ventilated seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a premium Bose sound system with eight speakers, and stylish leatherette upholstery. The SX (O) variant now includes a rain sensor, a rear wireless charger, and scooped seats. Plus, there's a new Smart Key with a motion sensor available from the S (O) variant and up, enhancing security. The SX(O) trim starts at ₹17.46 lakh for the petrol manual and goes up to ₹18.92 lakh for the IVT. The diesel options begin at ₹19.05 lakh for the manual and reach ₹20 lakh for the automatic, with the turbo petrol DCT priced at ₹20.19 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

Hyundai Creta: Specifications

The Hyundai Creta is a top seller in the compact SUV market. Since its debut in 2015, the company has sold over 1.2 million units of this popular model. The Creta offers three different powertrain options, including a 1.5-liter diesel engine that can be paired with either a manual or a torque converter automatic transmission. The standout choice for many drivers is the 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which is exclusively available with a dual-clutch transmission.

The 1.5-liter U2 CRDi engine delivers 114 hp and 250 Nm of torque, and it can be combined with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic. On the other hand, the 1.5-liter turbo-petrol T-GDI engine, paired with a seven-speed DCT, produces an impressive 160 bhp and 253 Nm of torque.
