1 Hyundai Creta Electric: Design

The Hyundai Creta Electric keeps the same exterior vibe as its previous gas-powered version. It sports a sleek, futuristic design that showcases Hyundai's global Pixel design language, complete with a charging port cleverly integrated into the "Pixelated Graphic Grille" at the front. The back bumper also features that pixelated graphic, paired with stylish LED tail lights that add a contemporary flair. Plus, the Creta Electric comes with Active Air Flaps (AAF) that are strategically placed to manage airflow, helping to cool key components of the SUV while enhancing its aerodynamics.

The car looks super stylish with its 17-inch Aero Alloy wheels and low rolling resistance tires, which also help boost its overall range.

2 Hyundai Creta Electric: Variants

The Hyundai Creta Electric is set to come in two key versions: the 42 kWh and the 51.4 kWh models. The 42 kWh variant will give you a range of 390 km on a single charge, while the 51.4 kWh version boasts an impressive 473 km range. You’ll also have four trim options to choose from: Executive, Smart, Premium, and Excellence.

On top of that, Hyundai has revealed that the Creta Electric will be available in eight solid colors and two dual-tone options, featuring three matte finishes.

3 Hyundai Creta Electric: Interior tech

The Hyundai Creta Electric will come packed with features similar to the regular ICE version, just with a few added perks. It’ll sport a leatherette dashboard and a dual-screen setup for both infotainment and the instrument cluster, just like its gasoline counterpart. You’ll also get wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The steering wheel is getting a fresh look with a twin-spoke design and four dots, similar to what you see in the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Plus, thanks to the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) tech, you can charge devices both inside and outside the car, making it a handy power source for emergencies or outdoor adventures. On top of that, the Creta EV will feature i-Pedal technology, allowing for one-pedal driving, so you can accelerate, decelerate, and come to a complete stop using just the accelerator pedal.

4 Hyundai Creta Electric: Battery and range

Hyundai has revealed that the Creta Electric will come with two battery options: 51.4 kWh and 42 kWh. The 42 kWh model can cover 392 km in standard mode, while the 51.4 kWh version boasts a range of 473 kilometers on a single charge.

Hyundai also mentioned that their 11kW Smart Connected wall box charger can fully charge the vehicle from 10% to 100% in just 4 hours with AC home charging. If you opt for DC charging, you can get it from 10% to 80% in about 58 minutes.

5 Hyundai Creta Electric: Safety features

The Hyundai Creta Electric is set to come with 52 essential safety features, such as six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, ISOFIX, tire pressure monitoring, and aids for hill driving. If you opt for the higher trim levels, you'll get a total of 75 safety features, which include rain-sensing wipers, surround view monitors, blind-spot view monitors, and advanced Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) capabilities. This Level 2 ADAS package includes Lane Keeping Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Collision Warning, and Smart Cruise Control with stop-and-go functionality, among other features.
