Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the new NX200, which is priced at ₹1.68 lakh (ex-showroom). The Honda NX200 is essentially a rebranding of the CB200X, a model that has been available in the Indian market for several years. This updated version aligns the CB200X with the larger NX500 in terms of its naming convention. The NX200 will be accessible through Honda’s Red Wing and Big Wing dealerships, as announced by the company.

Honda NX200: Key Updates  

In comparison to its predecessor, the CB200X, the new Honda NX200 remains largely unchanged, featuring only minor enhancements alongside its new designation. A significant update is the revised 184.4 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, which now complies with OBD-2B regulations. The engine continues to produce 16.76 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 15.7 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm, and it is paired with a 5-speed gearbox that includes an assist and slipper clutch.

The other hardware components are consistent with the previous model, featuring USD front forks and a rear mono-shock. Braking is managed by disc brakes at both the front and rear, complemented by dual-channel ABS. Additionally, the NX200 is equipped with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). In terms of design, the motorcycle retains its previous aesthetic, showcasing an LED headlamp, LED indicators, and an X-shaped LED taillight.

Honda NX200 Features  

The NX200 also boasts an upgraded feature set, including a new 4.2-inch digital TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and compatibility with the Honda RoadSync app, which provides navigation, call notifications, and SMS alerts. Additionally, the motorcycle is equipped with a USB Type-C charging port. It is available in three colour options: Athletic Blue Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black.
