In response to this trend, car manufacturers are rolling out special editions that embrace the black aesthetic. The latest addition to this lineup is the Honda Elevate Black Edition.

Built on the ZX trim of this compact SUV from Honda, the Elevate Black Edition showcases a sleek all-black design inside and out. It’s stepping into the ring with other special edition SUVs like the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition. Let’s take a quick look at how these two special edition SUVs stack up against each other.

Honda Elevate Black Edition versus Hyundai Creta Knight Edition: Exterior

The Honda Elevate Black Edition is available in two distinct trims that are built on the ZX trim level of the SUV. This Black Edition features a stylish all-black look, showcasing black 17-inch alloy wheels, black door handles, and chrome highlights on the upper grille. It also has a silver finish on the front and rear skid plates, along with the door and roof rails. To top it off, there are exclusive Black Edition badges on the fenders and rear. Meanwhile, the Signature Black Edition elevates the style with black accents on the upper grille, a dark grey finish on the skid plates, and its own unique Signature Edition badges on the fenders and rear.

On the flip side, the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition offers two color choices: black and Titan Grey, plus a dual-tone option for both colors. This dark-themed edition features a blacked-out front grille, and the Hyundai logos at the front and back are also in black. It comes with a special Knight emblem and 17-inch alloy wheels that have red brake calipers. Additional accessories include black front and rear skid plates, C-Pillar garnishes, roof rails, a rear spoiler, and ORVMs.

No matter which version you choose, the Honda Elevate Black Edition sports a sleek all-black look. It comes with black leatherette seats featuring black stitching, black door pads, and armrests covered in PVC, plus an all-black dashboard that matches its Black Edition branding. Aside from these updates, it’s pretty much the same as the regular ZX model. The Black Edition still boasts a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch semi-digital driver display, a wireless charger, and a sunroof, among other features.

On the other hand, the Creta Knight edition also embraces an all-black vibe. It features black leather seats accented with brass piping and stitching, along with brass-colored inserts throughout the interior. The package also includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shift knob with brass stitching, plus sporty metal pedals for that extra flair.

Honda Elevate Black Edition compared to Hyundai Creta Knight Edition: Pricing

Honda has rolled out two fresh variants of the Elevate: the Black Edition and the Signature Black Edition. Both are built on the high-end ZX models and come with options for manual or CVT automatic gearboxes. The Black Edition is priced at ₹15.51 lakh for the manual and ₹16.73 lakh for the CVT. Meanwhile, the Signature Black Edition is available for ₹15.71 lakh and ₹16.93 lakh for the CVT version.

On the other hand, the Creta Knight Edition kicks off at ₹14.62 lakh for the petrol S(O) with a manual gearbox, reaching up to ₹20.42 lakh for the diesel SX(O) with an automatic transmission and a dual-tone paint option.
