Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India has submitted a new design patent in the Indian market for the CG 160 model, specifically for the Cargo variant rather than the Titan variant. Should the company choose to introduce the CG 160 in India, it would be advisable to consider the Titan variant, as the Cargo variant appears somewhat basic. It is crucial to understand that the submission of a design patent does not guarantee that Honda will launch the motorcycle in the Indian market; the company occasionally files design patents to safeguard the aesthetic elements of its products.

What powers the Honda CG 160?  

The Honda CG 160 is capable of operating on both petrol and ethanol. When fueled by petrol, it generates a maximum power of 14.4 bhp at 8,000 rpm, along with a peak torque of 13.8 Nm at 6,750 rpm. In contrast, when using ethanol, the power output increases to 14.7 bhp with a torque of 14 Nm. The motorcycle is equipped with a 5-speed transmission, and its engine features fuel injection technology, being a single-cylinder configuration.

What are the dimensions of the Honda CG 160?  

The Honda CG 160 boasts a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres, which includes a reserve of 2.5 litres. In terms of its physical dimensions, the motorcycle measures 2,030 mm in length, 751 mm in width, and stands 1,094 mm tall. The wheelbase extends to 1,311 mm, while the seat height is a user-friendly 796 mm. Additionally, the Honda CG 160 offers a ground clearance of 170 mm and has a dry weight of 122 kg.
