The 2024 Honda Amaze has been introduced with a starting price of ₹8 lakh, ex-showroom. This marks the launch of the third generation of the subcompact sedan, which is available exclusively with a 1.2-litre petrol engine. Notably, the Amaze now competes with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and offers a CNG option, albeit with a unique approach. Several Honda dealers have indicated that they are facilitating the conversion of the 2024 Honda Amaze to a CNG model. This conversion is conducted in collaboration with the Regional Transport Office (RTO), utilizing only RTO-approved CNG conversion kits, distinguishing it from typical aftermarket modifications. The dealers are charging ₹1 lakh for this conversion, although the total cost may vary depending on the taxation policies of each state.
