The ZX variant has seen the most significant price increase of ₹30,000, while the V MT and VX MT variants have been raised by ₹10,000. Additionally, the V CVT and VX CVT variants have experienced a price hike of ₹15,000.

Originally, the introductory prices were expected to conclude in January; however, Honda opted to extend this period until January 31st. The new-generation Amaze was initially launched at an ex-showroom price of ₹7.99 lakh.

What are the rivals of the new Honda Amaze?

The new Honda Amaze goes against the Hyundai Aura and recently updated Tata Tigor and Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

What are the engine specifications of the new Honda Amaze?

The most recent iteration of the Honda Amaze features the familiar 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which has been fine-tuned to produce 89 bhp and a maximum torque of 110 Nm. This engine setup remains largely unchanged from that of the previous model and is the exclusive powertrain choice for this subcompact sedan. It is paired with both a 5-speed manual transmission and a continuously variable transmission (CVT), the latter being a distinctive offering in its category.

How fuel-efficient is the new Honda Amaze?

Honda asserts that the manual variant of the Amaze achieves a fuel efficiency of 18.65 kmpl, whereas the automatic version offers a mileage of 19.46 kmpl. These statistics have received certification from ARAI. The manufacturer highlights that the gear ratios in the manual model have been optimized to enhance acceleration, while the CVT has been modified to provide a more enjoyable driving experience.

Can you get new Honda Amaze with CNG?

Honda does not provide the Amaze with a factory-installed CNG powertrain. Nevertheless, numerous dealerships are undertaking modifications to enable the Amaze to operate on CNG. This conversion is distinct from typical aftermarket modifications, as it is conducted in collaboration with the Regional Transport Office (RTO), utilizing only RTO-approved CNG conversion kits. The dealerships are charging ₹1 lakh for this conversion. It is advisable for potential customers to contact their nearest authorized dealerships to ascertain the final cost, as prices may vary based on the state taxation framework.
