The Indian electric vehicle market has experienced significant growth in recent years, primarily due to the introduction of numerous new electric two-wheelers across the nation. While this segment has largely been led by innovative startups, the previous year witnessed established manufacturers such as TVS and Bajaj securing prominent positions with their electric scooters. Recently, two additional traditional manufacturers have entered the market: Honda with its Activa e and Suzuki with the e-Access. The Honda Activa e was introduced at the Auto Expo 2025, while the Suzuki e-Access was also revealed during the same event.

The Honda Activa e was launched at a starting price of ₹1.17 lakh, ex-showroom. Initially, deliveries of this electric scooter will commence in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai, starting this February. In contrast, the Suzuki e-Access is anticipated to be available for purchase later this year. Below is a brief comparison of the specifications, range, and features of these two electric scooters.
