Honda Activa e and QC 1 electric scooters bookings begin
Honda Activa e and QC 1 are now available for booking with an initial deposit of ₹1,000. The company has confirmed that the Honda Activa e can be reserved at select Honda two-wheeler dealerships located in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai. Meanwhile, bookings for the Honda QC 1 can be made at designated Honda dealerships in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh. Both electric scooters were introduced in November 2024 and mark Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India's entry into the electric vehicle market. The pricing details for the Honda Activa e and QC 1 will be revealed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 later this month, with deliveries for both models expected to commence in February 2025.
Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Mahindra and Toyota finish 2024 on a happy note
Carmakers such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Mahindra, and Toyota have reported a positive conclusion to the year 2024, despite facing numerous challenges. These manufacturers have demonstrated remarkable sales growth throughout the year. Maruti Suzuki announced a significant 24.1 percent increase in sales for December 2024 compared to the same month the previous year. Similarly, Mahindra achieved an 18 percent year-on-year sales growth last month, driven by its diverse SUV lineup. JSW MG Motor reported an impressive 55 percent increase in sales for December 2024, attributed to the success of the MG Windsor EV. Additionally, Toyota experienced a 29 percent year-on-year sales growth in December, bolstered by the performance of the Innova Crysta and Urban Cruiser Hyryder models.
