Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the Xoom 125 and Xoom 160 at the Auto Expo 2025, thereby expanding its Xoom scooter lineup with two new models. The Hero Xoom 125 serves as a larger counterpart to the Xoom 110 scooter. Priced starting at ₹86,900 (ex-showroom), the Hero Xoom 125 is offered in two variants: VX and ZX. Additionally, it is available in four distinct colour options: Matte Storm Gray, Metallic Turbo Blue, Matte Neon Lime, and Inferno Red. The VX variant is limited to the first two colours, while the ZX variant can be chosen in the latter two colours.

In recent years, there has been a notable increase in the demand and popularity of 125 cc scooters in India, driven by changing consumer preferences. Modern Indian consumers are inclined towards more premium offerings that provide enhanced features and superior performance, moving away from the conventional 100-110 cc models. The TVS NTorq 125 has emerged as a favoured choice in this segment, known for its robust performance. The Hero Xoom 125 aims to compete directly with this model.

Notably, the highest variant of the Xoom 125 is considerably more economical than the premium model of the TVS NTorq 125.

The Hero Xoom 125 is equipped with a 125 cc engine that delivers a peak power of 9.7 bhp at 7,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.4 Nm at 6,000 rpm. This scooter is touted as one of the fastest in its category, achieving a 0 to 60 km/h acceleration in just 7.6 seconds.

The engine of the Hero Xoom 125 features a three-valve design, producing a peak power of 9.37 bhp at 7,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.6 Nm at 5,500 rpm. It can reach a top speed of 90.1 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in 6.7 seconds.
