Hero MotoCorp captured the attention of two-wheeler enthusiasts with the unveiling of the Xoom 125 and Xoom 160 at the recent EICMA. Following that, the company launched these models at the Auto Expo 2025. With the addition of these two new variants, the Xoom range now includes the Xoom 110, Xoom 125, and Xoom 160.

In recent years, there has been a growing demand and popularity for scooters with larger engines and improved performance in India, reflecting changing consumer preferences. The Hero Xoom 125 was introduced to fill the gap between the Xoom 110 and Xoom 160. Priced starting at ₹86,900 (ex-showroom), the Hero Xoom 125 is offered in two variants—VX and ZX—and comes in four colour options: Matte Storm Gray, Metallic Turbo Blue, Matte Neon Lime, and Inferno Red. The VX trim is available in the first two colours, while the ZX trim offers the latter two.

The Hero Xoom 125 is priced between ₹86,900 and ₹92,900 (ex-showroom), depending on the variant, making it a more affordable option compared to the Suzuki Avenis, which is priced between ₹92,000 (ex-showroom) and ₹92,800 (ex-showroom) based on the standard model and the Race edition.

The Suzuki Avenis features a 124 cc air-cooled engine, producing 8.58 bhp of peak power at 6,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
