Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to introduce the larger XPulse in the Indian market next year. This bike is highly anticipated, and the company has just submitted a design patent for the XPulse 421. There's a good chance we might catch a glimpse of the XPulse 421 at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The motorcycle was initially hinted at during EICMA, where it was revealed that the new XPulse will feature a 421 cc engine.

What are the specs going to be for the new Hero XPulse 421?

The XPulse 421, as the name implies, will feature a brand-new liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. This engine will have a displacement of 421 cc, delivering an expected power output of about 40 bhp and torque around 45 Nm. It will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox that includes a slipper clutch.

In terms of competition, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is the closest rival, equipped with a 450 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that also produces 40 bhp but has a torque output of 40 Nm. Like the XPulse, it comes with a 6-speed gearbox.
