Hero MotoCorp is currently developing an updated version of its highly popular motorcycle, the Splendor Plus. Recently, the 2025 Hero Splendor Plus was observed at a dealership stockyard without any camouflage, allowing for a clear examination of its potential modifications. The most significant alteration noted on the new Hero Splendor Plus is the inclusion of a front disc brake. Additionally, the well-regarded commuter motorcycle will feature new color options.

Key Changes for the 2025 Hero Splendor Plus  

The 2025 Hero Splendor Plus is anticipated to maintain the design aesthetics of the existing model, albeit with some modifications. Recent spy images of the 2025 Splendor Plus indicate that it will offer at least two new color variants: a striking red with golden accents and a sleek grey option. In addition to these fresh color choices, the updated Splendor Plus is likely to showcase revised body graphics. Further details are expected to be released shortly.

Regarding hardware enhancements, the introduction of the front disc brake represents a significant upgrade. The disc brake appears to be similar to the one found on the Hero Splendor Plus Xtec, a more contemporary version of the motorcycle that features a digital display. This new braking system is anticipated to improve the motorcycle's safety by providing superior braking performance compared to the current drum brake configuration. However, the rear wheel will still utilize a drum brake system.

In terms of the powertrain, the motorcycle is expected to retain the same 97.2 cc air-cooled engine, which currently produces a peak power of 7.91 bhp and a maximum torque of 8.05 Nm. While the specifications are likely to remain consistent, the engine will be updated to comply with OBD-2B norms. The motorcycle will also be equipped with a four-speed transmission system.

Hero MotoCorp is yet to reveal the timeframe of launch for the new Splendor Plus. Expect it to launch sometime in the first half of 2025 only. The current model is available at a price range of ₹77,176 - ₹79,926 (ex-showroom). Expect the new Splendor Plus to come at a slightly higher price.
