Hero VIDA sales: Steady growth in the electric market segment

Hero's electric vehicle division, operating under the VIDA brand, saw slight growth. In the fiscal year 2024-25, retail sales of the VIDA V2 electric scooter reached 48,674 units, marking a 2.36% increase from the previous year. Additionally, the company shipped over 58,000 VIDA electric scooters during FY 2024-25, reflecting a remarkable growth of around 200% from the prior year. However, despite this increase, electric vehicles still make up a minimal share of Hero's overall sales.

Hero Motorcorp: Expanding Exports and Product Range

Hero MotoCorp saw impressive growth in international markets, exporting 287,429 units in FY 2024-25, which marks a 43 percent increase compared to the previous year. This surge reflects the company's strategy to enhance its global footprint.

Throughout the year, the group expanded its lineup of internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) models by launching several new options. These include the Xtreme 250R, Xpulse 210, Destini 125, Xoom 125, Xoom 160, and the VIDA V2 electric scooters. These new additions aim to cater to both everyday commuters and the premium market, while also pushing further into the electric vehicle sector.
