
Hero MotoCorp Accelerates – Two-Wheeler Sales Up Nearly 5% in FY2025

Hero MotoCorp has released its sales figures for the financial year 2024-25 and for March 2025, showcasing significant growth in its two-wheeler sales. The company sold a total of 5,899,187 units in FY2025, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 4.94 percent compared to the 5,621,455 units sold in FY2024. Motorcycle sales comprised 5,476,495 units, marking a growth of 5.51 percent, while scooter sales reached 422,692 units, experiencing a slight decline of 1.88 percent.
In FY2025, domestic sales totaled 5,611,758 units, which represents a growth of 3.53 percent from the 5,420,532 units sold the previous year. Exports amounted to 287,429 units, showing a substantial increase of 43.05 percent from the 200,923 units exported in FY2024.
Sales Performance in March 2025
March 2025 concluded on a positive note for Hero MotoCorp, with sales reaching 549,604 units, a 12.07 percent rise from the 490,415 units sold in March 2024. The contribution from motorcycle sales was the highest at 506,641 units, reflecting a remarkable increase of 43.80 percent from 456,724 units in March of the previous year. Scooter sales also saw a significant rise, reaching 42,963 units in March this year, which is a 27.52 percent increase compared to 33,691 units sold in March last year. Total domestic sales for March amounted to 510,086 units, indicating an 11.07 percent growth, while exports contributed 39,518 units, up by 25.38 percent.
Vida E-Scooter Sales In FY2025
In the fiscal year 2025, Hero's electric mobility division, Vida, demonstrated significant progress, successfully delivering more than 58,000 electric scooters. The company also announced the installation of over 3,600 charging stations across 250 cities throughout India. Additionally, Vida customers benefit from a network of more than 500 service centers. Furthermore, Hero achieved sales of over 11,000 units of the Harley-Davidson X440, marking the first product from its collaboration with Harley in the previous financial year.
Hero is also broadening its Premia dealership network for premium products, which includes the Hero, Vida, and Harley brands, with more than 80 outlets currently operational across India. The company's Hero 2.0 retail presence has expanded to 930 outlets, with the goal of enhancing the customer experience across various segments at the dealership level.
