Global Models Unveiled: BYD's Lineup for Auto Expo 2025

BYD has officially announced its participation in the forthcoming Auto Expo 2025, which will be held as part of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The company has confirmed that it will present several models from its international portfolio, including the BYD Seagull and the BYD Dolphin, along with showcasing significant upcoming technologies.
The BYD exhibition will be located in Hall 6 of the Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from January 17 to January 22, 2025. Additionally, the display will feature models that are currently available for sale in India. Presently, BYD offers three models in the Indian market: the BYD eMax7, the BYD Seal, and the BYD Atto 3.
Rajeev Chauhan, the head of the Electric Passenger Vehicles (EPV) Business at BYD India, emphasized the significance of such exhibitions in promoting the adoption of electric vehicles. He stated, “We believe that events like The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 are key to accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in India. This event brings together key players in the automotive industry, and BYD is proud to be a part of this important event.”

The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has released a confirmed list of participants, which includes prominent car manufacturers such as Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Tata Motors, Toyota Motor, Hyundai Motor, Kia, JSW MG Motor, Skoda, and Volkswagen, in addition to BYD.
The exhibition will also feature several luxury automobile brands, including renowned German manufacturers like Mercedes, BMW, and Porsche. Furthermore, VinFast, a Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, will be making its inaugural appearance in India, positioning itself as a significant contender among international electric vehicle producers.
Among the most eagerly awaited vehicles set to debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo next year are the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Hyundai Creta EV, and Tata Sierra.
