The official unveiling is scheduled for January 17 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, taking place at the Maruti Suzuki pavilion. The latest teaser has disclosed several details:

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara: Exterior

The teaser highlights design features such as Y-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs), Y-shaped LED tail lights, and a prominent front bumper. The charging port is conveniently located just above the wheel arch, while the wheel arches are accented with black plastic to enhance the rugged appearance. Additionally, the rear door handles are integrated into the C-pillar.

The tailgate features a sleek silver Suzuki emblem alongside an "e Vitara" badge. The e Vitara is constructed on the brand's innovative Heartect-e platform, specifically designed for electric vehicles.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara: Interior

The teaser also provides insights into the vehicle's interior. It indicates that the India-specific e Vitara will feature a rotary dial on the center console, similar to its international version, along with an electronic parking brake.

The global variant showcases a dual-tone interior, a modern flat-bottom two-spoke steering wheel, vertically arranged air conditioning vents, and chrome detailing on the dashboard. A dual-screen configuration for the infotainment system and instrument cluster contributes to a contemporary and technologically advanced interior.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara: Features and specifications

This electric SUV is poised to be Maruti Suzuki's inaugural model equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Additional features include six airbags, ventilated front seats, wireless compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charging station, and a regenerative braking system.

The e Vitara is available worldwide with two battery capacity options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh. It is set to compete with various electric vehicles in India, including the forthcoming Hyundai Creta EV, Mahindra BE 6, Tata Curvv EV, and MG ZS EV.
