Ola is set to officially launch the Roadster X in India tomorrow, February 5th, following several promotional teasers on social media. The Roadster X was initially revealed earlier in 2024, showcasing its striking design and modern LED lighting. The company is now prepared to present the production-ready version of the motorbike, with the launch event scheduled to be streamed live on YouTube at 10:30 AM.

On August 15, 2024, Ola disclosed the pricing for the motorbike, which ranges from ₹74,999 to ₹1 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning the Roadster X as one of the most competitively priced models in Ola's range. Bookings for the motorbike have been available for a while, starting at ₹999.

Ola Roadster X: Performance

The Roadster X gets an 11 kW motor, which makes up to 14.75 bhp, and takes the motorbike from 0- 40 kmph in a claimed 2.8 seconds on the top-spec variant. The motorbike is rated for a top speed of 124 kmph in its max spec version.

Ola Roadster X: Battery and range

The Ola Roadster X electric motorcycle is set to be offered with three distinct battery pack options: a 2.5 kWh, a 3.5 kWh, and a 4.5 kWh variant. The smallest 2.5 kWh battery is reported to provide an IDC-certified range of up to 117 km and is claimed to require 3.3 hours for charging from 0 to 80 percent. The intermediate 3.5 kWh option is expected to deliver an IDC range of 159 km and is said to take 4.6 hours to achieve the same charge level. The largest 4.5 kWh battery pack boasts an IDC-certified range of 200 km, with a claimed charging time of 5.9 hours from 0 to 80 percent.

Ola Roadster X: Features

The electric vehicle manufacturer is equipping the motorcycle with a 4.3-inch segmented display. Furthermore, the motorcycle features LED headlamps, front disc brakes, and three distinct riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. In addition, it incorporates various technologies, including cruise control, advanced regenerative braking, reverse mode, tire pressure monitoring, geo-fencing, towing and theft detection, vehicle location services, and over-the-air software updates.
