Vida Electric has announced via its social media platforms that customers can avail benefits of up to ₹30,000 on their V2 electric scooter range. However, the company has not provided additional details, so it is advisable for customers to contact their nearest dealerships for further information regarding these offers.

Among the V2 series, the Vida V2 Lite is recognized as the most cost-effective option. It is equipped with a 2.2 kWh battery, which delivers a range of 94 km (IDC) on a full charge. This model is a new addition to the Vida lineup, complementing the existing Plus and Pro variants. The V2 Lite can achieve a maximum speed of 69 km/h and features two riding modes: Ride and Eco. Its specifications are comparable to those of the higher-priced models, including a 7-inch TFT touchscreen display.

On the other hand, the V2 Plus is powered by a larger 3.44 kWh battery, providing a range of 143 km, while the V2 Pro boasts an even bigger 3.94 kWh battery, offering a maximum range of 165 km on a single charge. Both models in the V2 series are designed with removable battery packs that can be charged to 80 percent in approximately six hours.

Vida V2 Specific

The Vida V2 is powered by a PMS motor situated on the swingarm, delivering 6 kW (8 bhp) and generating a peak torque of 26 Nm. The V2 Plus and Pro variants come with four distinct riding modes: Eco, Ride, Sport, and Custom. The V2 Plus can attain a maximum speed of 85 km/h, whereas the V2 Pro can reach an even greater top speed of 90 km/h.

In terms of design, the Vida V2 shows only slight variations from the V1 electric scooter. It introduces two new color choices—Matte Nexus Blue-Grey and Glossy Sports Red—infusing a modern touch. The electric scooter is backed by a standard warranty of 5 years or 50,000 km, while the battery packs are guaranteed for 3 years or 30,000 km.

Additional features include cruise control, keyless entry, regenerative braking, and a range of other functionalities. Hero states that V2 owners can access the brand's extensive network of 3,100 charging stations located in over 250 cities nationwide.

Competitors of the Vida V2 include the Rizta, iQube, and Chetak, as well as the Ampere Nexus and the latest Honda Activa e:, which offers swappable batteries.
