Ola Electric has revealed that it has begun delivering the S1 Gen 3 electric scooters in India. Initially, during the launch event, the company indicated that deliveries would start in February; however, this timeline has been postponed. The Gen 3 electric scooters were officially launched on January 31st, featuring a total of eight models, starting with the S1 Pro+, followed by the S1 Pro, S1 X, and S1 X+. Each model will come with different battery pack options.

Ola S1 X

The S1 X will be available with three battery pack options: 2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh. It boasts a peak power output of 7 kW, a maximum speed of 123 km/h, and an IDC range of up to 242 km.

Ola S1 X+

The S1 X+ features a peak power of 11 kW and can reach a top speed of 125 km/h, with an IDC range also reaching up to 242 km. It includes a front disc brake with single-channel ABS and a physical key, along with new color options.

Ola S1 Pro

The Ola S1 Pro will be available with 3 kWh and 4 kWh battery packs, offering an IDC range of up to 242 km and a maximum speed of 125 km/h.

Ola S1 Pro+

The S1 Pro+ serves as the brand's flagship electric scooter. It is equipped with a dual-channel anti-lock braking system, rim decals, a die-cast grab handle, a two-tone seat, and a powerful 13 kW motor that allows for a top speed of 141 km/h. This model will be offered with two battery pack options: 5.3 kWh and 4 kWh. The 5.1 kWh battery pack utilizes Ola's 4680 cells and provides an IDC range of 320 km, along with new colour choices.

MoveOS 5

Ola Electric has officially opened registrations for customers interested in trying out the MoveOS 5 Beta. This announcement was shared through the company's social media channels. The beta software is available for both Gen 1 and Gen 2 electric scooters, while the newly launched Gen 3 models come pre-installed with MoveOS 5.
