Skoda India has officially introduced the new Kodiaq to the Indian market. The vehicle is available in two variants and features a single petrol engine option. Skoda asserts that the new Kodiaq achieves a fuel efficiency of 14.86 kmpl. Initially presented at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in Delhi, the Skoda Kodiaq will be manufactured in India.

The recently introduced SUV comes in two variants: the Sportline and the Laurin & Klement. The Laurin & Klement variant is priced at ₹48.69 lakh ex-showroom, while the Sportline variant is available for ₹46.89 lakh ex-showroom.

What are the engine specifications of the new Skoda Kodiaq?

The Kodiaq is equipped with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 201 bhp and delivers a maximum torque of 320 Nm. This engine provides an increase of 14 bhp over the previous Kodiaq model. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through a standard 4x4 system, complemented by a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission. Additionally, the manufacturer has stated that the latest generation Kodiaq will achieve a fuel efficiency of 14.86 kmpl.
