The MG Cyberster is set to become the flagship offering of JSW MG Motor India upon its launch, coinciding with the introduction of the brand's premium showroom network, MG Select. This electric vehicle will be equipped with a 77 kWh battery pack, boasting an impressive range of 510 kilometres on a single charge. The Cyberster will deliver a peak power output of 510 bhp and a maximum torque of 725 Nm, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.

In addition, the Mercedes-Benz EQG is another significant launch anticipated in India in January 2025. This model will represent the fully electric version of the iconic G-Class SUV. Pre-bookings for the EQG have already begun in India, with deliveries expected to start in late 2025. The EQG will be launched alongside the EQS five-seater. It will feature a 116 kWh battery pack and four electric motors, one for each wheel, generating a total output of 579 bhp and 1,164 Nm of torque. The EQG is projected to provide a range of 479 kilometres on a single charge.

Furthermore, Kia India unveiled the Syros SUV last month, with pricing set to be revealed at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Bookings for the B-SUV are slated to open on January 3, with deliveries anticipated in February 2025. The Kia Syros will offer a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, available with both six-speed manual and seven-speed DCT transmission options, as well as a 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with six-speed manual and torque converter automatic transmissions.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 SUV is all set to get a five-seater variant, which will be launched on January 9 alongside the Mercedes-Benz EQG, the EV avatar of the G-Class SUV. Despite coming in a five-seater layout, the Mercedes-Benz EQS will come packing the same battery and motor setup as the current seven-seater model. Powering the EQS will be a 122 kWh battery pack paired with two electric motors. Mercedes-Benz claims the five-seater version will offer a higher range than the seven-seater version.

The Hyundai Creta EV will be powered by a 60 kWh battery pack and a single electric motor driving the front wheels, promising an approximate range of 500 kilometres on a single charge.
