Ducati is set to introduce motocross bikes in India in 2026. The renowned Italian superbike manufacturer aims to enhance its portfolio in the Indian market, and as part of this strategy, it plans to launch motocross models next year. During the unveiling of the new Ducati Panigale V4 on Wednesday, the company also announced that it has several other products planned for India, including upgraded versions of its existing models.

In an interview with the news agency PTI, Ducati India's Managing Director, Bipul Chandra, indicated that the company will introduce new variants of the Scrambler and Multistrada, among other models. "In 2026, we will also launch motocross bikes. We have begun participating in global competitions and have started achieving victories, which excites us. This will be a new segment for us," he elaborated.

Chandra further noted that the demand for high-performance motorcycles in India is at an all-time high, with a passionate and growing community of riders eager to experience top-tier superbikes on the racetrack. In response to this evolving consumer interest, the company is focused on introducing new products, including motocross bikes.

Ducati experienced a sales increase of six to seven percent in 2024 compared to 2023 and anticipates this growth trend to persist into 2025. "For 2025, we expect further growth driven by the launch of several new bikes," Chandra stated, adding that the company's sales remain strong, reflecting robust demand for its products. "Ducati's commitment to introducing every model in India, irrespective of demand, highlights its strategic significance to the brand on a global scale," he concluded.

On Wednesday, Ducati launched the all-new 2025 Panigale V4 in the Indian market. The sportsbike is available in two trim options, V4 and V4 S, with prices ranging from ₹29.99 lakh (ex-showroom) to ₹35.6 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
