Citroen is preparing to introduce the Dark Editions of three of its vehicles in India: the Basalt, C3, and C3 Aircross. The official launch of the Citroen Basalt Dark Edition, Citroen C3 Dark Edition, and Citroen C3 Aircross Dark Edition is scheduled for April 10. Once released, these models will become part of the recently unveiled Dark Edition or Black Edition lineup in the Indian passenger vehicle market.

Below is a brief overview of the main expectations for the Citroen Basalt, C3, and C3 Aircross Dark Edition models.

Citroen Basalt Dark Edition

The Citroen Basalt Dark Edition will feature a completely black exterior finish, complemented by contrasting elements on the bumper and grille. The wheels will remain the same as in the standard model. Inside, this special edition coupe SUV will showcase an all-black interior, replacing the typical black and beige color scheme of the standard version. The seats and dashboard will include contrasting stitching. The top-tier variant will be equipped with climate control, a touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless phone mirroring, a fully digital instrument cluster, power-adjustable mirrors, power windows, and connected car technologies. Anticipate an additional cost of ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 for this special edition compared to the standard variants.

Citroen C3 Dark Edition

The Citroen C3 Dark Edition will be introduced with a striking new black exterior, enhanced by various blacked-out features throughout the vehicle. The faux skid plates will have a silver finish, while the alloy wheels will showcase a dual-tone design. Inside, the cabin will embrace a black color scheme, accented by contrasting red stitching on the dashboard, seats, and armrest. The front seats will be adorned with 'Dark Edition' embroidery and a grey insert. Additional accessories will include special edition seat belts, cushions, and more.

Citroen C3 Aircross Dark Edition

The Citroen C3 Aircross Dark Edition SUV will feature a sleek black exterior, similar to its counterparts, the C3 and Basalt. However, the silver skid plates will still be included. The tailgate will showcase the striking ‘AIRCROSS’ emblem in chrome. The alloy wheels will present a dual-tone design. Additionally, the C3 Aircross Dark Edition will bear a black ‘DARK EDITION’ badge. Inside, the C3 Aircross will maintain its original layout but will be enhanced with premium black leatherette upholstery accented by contrasting red details. It will also include illuminated sill plates and ambient lighting in the footwell.
