Bajaj sales report Q3 FY2025: Chetak Electric

Chetak Electric has emerged as a standout model within Bajaj’s portfolio, experiencing a remarkable 2.5-fold increase in sales compared to the previous year. Notably, the scooter's market share has surged to 25 per cent, reflecting an increase of 1,100 basis points. The manufacturer attributes this achievement to the introduction of the ‘Best Chetak Yet,’ the Chetak 35 series, which features enhancements such as a superior battery that provides a class-leading range, an extended seat, a more spacious boot, and faster charging capabilities. Additionally, the scooter incorporates advanced technology tailored to meet the demands of contemporary urban living.

Bajaj has enhanced its premium product lineup not only through Triumph but also via its partnership with KTM. Modifications to models such as the Duke 200 and 250 have increased their attractiveness in the market. Furthermore, the introduction of ten new high-performance motorcycles, featuring engine capacities reaching up to 1,390cc, has generated considerable enthusiasm among enthusiasts in India's expanding sports motorcycle sector.

Additionally, Bajaj has played a significant role in broadening Triumph's presence in India by increasing the number of dealerships. Currently, the brand operates 126 dealerships, which encompass 55 per cent of the market, thereby enhancing Triumph's appeal among motorcycle enthusiasts.
