The 2025 Honda Shine 125 has a major update with its new OBD-2B-compliant engine. It still features a 123.94 cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine that delivers 10.6 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, all matched with a 5-speed transmission. This upgrade helps the Shine 125 comply with the latest emission standards while keeping its well-known fuel efficiency and dependability intact.

The Shine 125 is stepping up its game with a fully digital instrument console for the first time, giving it a fresh, modern vibe. The display shows all the important info you need, like real-time fuel efficiency, how much distance you have left, when your service is due, gear position, and an eco indicator. These upgrades make the Shine 125 super practical and user-friendly for everyday riding.

On top of that, Honda has included a USB Type-C charging port to meet the needs of today’s commuters. This means you can easily charge your smartphone while you ride, which is a great perk for anyone who uses navigation or wants to stay connected on longer trips.

Honda has added an Idle Start/Stop feature to the Shine 125, which boosts fuel efficiency by automatically turning off the engine when it's idling for a while, like at traffic lights. This is super handy in city traffic, as it cuts down on fuel use and emissions.

The 2025 Shine 125 features a rear tyre that's 90 mm wider, boosting both grip and stability on the road. This not only makes for a more comfortable ride but also adds to the bike's looks. Plus, this upgrade enhances overall handling, giving you more confidence no matter the road conditions.

The 2025 Honda Shine 125 kicks off at ₹84,493 for the drum version and ₹89,245 for the disc version (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). It remains a solid player in the 125cc commuter market, going head-to-head with bikes like the Hero Glamour 125, Bajaj Pulsar 125, and Hero Super Splendor.
