1 BMW and MINI
BMW plans to raise prices by as much as 3 percent for all models, including the BMW 2 Series, BMW XM, MINI Cooper S, and Countryman. Although the company has not provided a specific rationale, it is believed that escalating input costs are a contributing factor. Notably, BMW is the first luxury automaker to declare a price increase for the upcoming financial year.

2 Renault
Renault will implement a price increase of up to 2 percent for the Kiger, Kwid, and Triber models. The manufacturer has cited rising input costs as the reason for this adjustment. CEO Venkatram Mamillapalle mentioned that the company had absorbed costs for an extended period but now needs to adjust prices to uphold quality standards. This marks Renault's first price increase since February 2023.

3 Honda
Honda has announced a price increase for its entire model range, including the Amaze, City, City e:HEV, and Elevate, although the specific percentage of the increase has not yet been disclosed. The hike is attributed to rising input costs and operational expenses. This will be Honda's second price adjustment in 2025, following a revision in January.

4 Hyundai
Hyundai will raise prices by up to 3 percent across its entire range, from the Grand i10 to the Ioniq 5. The company has cited rising input costs, increased commodity prices, and operational expenses as the reasons for this increase. Tarun Garg, COO of HMIL, stated that Hyundai has absorbed costs to the greatest extent possible but must now pass some of the burden onto customers. This price increase may also impact the forthcoming Hyundai Creta EV.

5 Kia
Kia will implement a price increase of up to 3 percent across its entire lineup due to rising commodity prices and supply chain expenses. Hardeep Singh Brar, VP of Sales and Marketing, indicated that while Kia is absorbing some of the increased costs, it is necessary to adjust prices to maintain quality and technological standards.

6 Maruti Suzuki
Maruti Suzuki has announced yet another price increase across its entire lineup, although the specific amount has not been disclosed. The company has attributed this decision to rising input costs and operational expenses. This will mark Maruti Suzuki's third price increase in recent times.
