Royal Enfield announced on Tuesday the expansion of its pre-owned business to a total of 236 cities nationwide. The initiative, named Royal Enfield REOWN, facilitates the buying and selling of pre-owned motorcycles from the brand, while also enabling current owners to sell their bikes and acquire a new Royal Enfield model.

The REOWN platform is now accessible through the company's 475 dealerships located across 24 states and union territories in India. Additionally, the company has introduced a loyalty program that offers exchange benefits for customers looking to upgrade from a pre-owned Royal Enfield motorcycle to a new model via the REOWN’s RE-to-RE exchanges.

The expansion to over 200 cities is noteworthy, reflecting the rapid progress Royal Enfield has made in this endeavor. The REOWN program was first launched in December 2023. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer of Royal Enfield, stated, “The expansion of REOWN to encompass 236 cities within just one year underscores our commitment to providing enthusiasts with a seamless and transparent experience in owning a Royal Enfield, whether it is their first purchase or a valued upgrade.”

What is Royal Enfield REOWN?

Royal Enfield REOWN serves as a dedicated platform for current owners to sell or trade their Royal Enfield motorcycles, while also providing an opportunity for first-time buyers to acquire a thoroughly inspected Royal Enfield bike. Each pre-owned motorcycle available on REOWN is certified by Royal Enfield and is subjected to approximately 200 technical and mechanical evaluations. Additionally, these motorcycles are refurbished with genuine parts at authorized Royal Enfield service centers.

Sellers have the option to arrange a complimentary inspection of their motorcycle at any location by filling out an online form.

Notably, REOWN has established partnerships with Adroit Auto, SAMIL, and Instabid to enable the exchange of non-Royal Enfield motorcycles as well. Any pre-owned motorcycle purchased through the REOWN platform is accompanied by a 12-month brand warranty and includes two free services.
