The Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon Edition is a special variant characterized by its dark aesthetic, built upon the foundation of the well-regarded SUV. With a price range of ₹18.99 lakh to ₹24.69 lakh (ex-showroom), this edition is exclusively available in the Z8 and Z8L trims. It features a completely black exterior and a similarly themed interior. Aside from its distinctive color scheme, this special edition retains all the equipment and features found in the standard model. Furthermore, both petrol and diesel engines deliver identical power and torque specifications as their regular counterparts.

2 MG Hector Blackstorm Edition  
JSW MG Motor has consistently led the way in launching special edition vehicles. The latest offering is the MG Hector Blackstorm Edition, which showcases a Starry-black exterior and substitutes chrome accents with a gun-metal finish complemented by red highlights. This all-black design extends into the interior as well. The MG Hector Blackstorm Edition is based on the Sharp Pro trim, the second-highest in the SUV lineup, and includes all the features present in the standard version. The powertrain remains unchanged from the regular model, and the MG Hector Blackstorm Edition is offered in both petrol and diesel variants, priced between ₹22.13 lakh and ₹22.56 lakh (ex-showroom).

3 Tata Safari Stealth Edition

The Tata Safari Stealth Edition is a recently introduced special edition SUV in India, characterized by its all-black design. It offers both petrol and diesel engine options and is priced between ₹25.75 lakh and ₹27.25 lakh (ex-showroom). This edition is derived from the accomplished + trim SUV. It was launched concurrently with the Safari Dark Edition, which is based on the Pure + S trim and is priced between ₹25.30 lakh and ₹27 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, Tata Motors has also released the Stealth and Dark Editions of the Harrier SUV. In terms of performance, the Safari Stealth Edition utilizes the same engine and transmission as the standard model.

4 Honda Elevate Black Edition

In a similar vein, Honda has entered the market with the Elevate Black Edition, joining other manufacturers like Tata Motors, MG, and Mahindra in offering black-themed special edition SUVs. The Elevate Black Edition was launched alongside the Signature Black Edition, with prices ranging from ₹15.51 lakh to ₹16.63 lakh (ex-showroom) for the former and ₹15.71 lakh to ₹16.93 lakh (ex-showroom) for the latter. Built on the top ZX trim, the Elevate Black Edition features a Crystal Black Pearl exterior finish. As with other special editions, there are no alterations to the powertrain.

5 Jeep Compass Night Eagle Edition

The Jeep Compass also presents two black-themed editions: the Night Eagle and the Blackshark. The Night Eagle Edition is based on the Longitude (O) variant, while the more premium Blackshark Edition is derived from the Limited (O) trim. Both editions showcase an all-black aesthetic for the exterior and interior. The Night Eagle features partial leatherette seating, a manual interior rearview mirror, two-way electrically adjustable front seats, and two airbags. The powertrain remains consistent with the standard model. The pricing for the Jeep Compass Night Eagle Edition ranges from ₹25.18 lakh to ₹27.18 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the Blackshark Edition is priced between ₹26.86 lakh and ₹28.83 lakh (ex-showroom).
