Bajaj Auto Ltd. has achieved a significant milestone by selling over 20 million units of the Pulsar internationally. The company announced that this accomplishment spans more than 50 countries, highlighting the Pulsar's strong presence in the global sports motorcycle market. These figures also indicate an increasing demand for high-performance motorcycles.
The growth in sales has been remarkable, with the first 10 million units sold over a period of 17 years, from 2001 to 2018. The subsequent 10 million units were sold much more rapidly, within just six years, from 2019 to 2025. According to the manufacturer, the Pulsar currently enjoys a leading market position in over 20 countries.
Brief history of Pulsar sales
The Pulsar series was introduced by Bajaj in 2001 and has played a significant role in cultivating the motorbiking enthusiast community in India. Known for their reliability and cost-effective performance, Pulsar motorcycles have gained traction in markets across Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Over the years, various models, including the Pulsar 220F, NS series, and N series, have attracted customers with their excellent value proposition.
Sarang Kanade, President of the Motorcycle Business Unit at Bajaj Auto, remarked on this achievement, stating, “Achieving 20 million sales in over 50 countries demonstrates the ongoing trust and enthusiasm of Pulsar riders around the world."
Discounts to celebrate the occasion
In celebration of this milestone, Bajaj Auto is launching limited-time discounts on select Pulsar models, allowing customers to save up to ₹7,379. The Pulsar 125 Neon is now available for ₹84,493, reflecting a discount of ₹1,184. The Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre is priced at ₹91,610, with a reduction of ₹2,000. The Pulsar 150 Single Disc is offered at ₹1,12,838 after a discount of ₹3,000, while the Pulsar 150 Twin Disc is now available for ₹1,19,923, also benefiting from a ₹3,000 discount. The N160 USD variant can be purchased for ₹1,36,992, which includes a discount of ₹5,811.
Furthermore, new pricing has been established for certain models. The NS125 Base is now priced at ₹99,994, and the NS125 ABS is available for ₹1,06,739. The N160 TD Single Seat variant is listed at ₹1,22,722. In the states of Maharashtra, Bihar, and West Bengal, the Pulsar 220F will be available with a discount of ₹7,379.
