Bajaj Platina 110 ABS discontinued in India. Here's why

Bajaj Auto has ceased production of the Pulsar F250 just seven months following its update. Additionally, the company has also discontinued the Platina 110 ABS model in India. The decision to discontinue the ABS variant of the Bajaj Platina 110 commuter motorcycle was primarily due to disappointing sales over the past few years. This model has been removed from the official website, although the drum variant of the Bajaj Platina 110 will remain available for purchase throughout the country.
The Bajaj Platina 110 ABS was notable for being the sole motorcycle in the sub-125 cc category to feature single-channel ABS in the Indian two-wheeler market, making it the most expensive variant of the Platina series. Despite the inclusion of this important safety feature, the model did not achieve the expected sales figures, leading to its discontinuation.
The Bajaj Platina 110 is powered by a 115 cc single-cylinder engine, which is mated to a five-speed transmission. This engine produces a peak power of 8.44 bhp at 7,000 rpm and delivers a maximum torque of 9.81 Nm at 5,000 rpm.
Bajaj Pulsar F250 discontinued
Bajaj Auto has recently ceased production of the Pulsar F250 motorcycle. The model had received an update in May of the previous year, with its revised version being introduced at a price of ₹1.51 lakh (ex-showroom). This updated model featured new body graphics and an enhanced digital console equipped with Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, it offered three ABS modes: Road, Rain, and Off-Road.
Although the Bajaj Pulsar F250 has been discontinued in India, there is a possibility that it will be exported to other markets depending on demand. Furthermore, the Pulsar F250 may return in the future if there is a resurgence in interest for semi-faired motorcycles.
The Bajaj Pulsar F250 was powered by a well-known 249.07 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, which was tuned to deliver 24 bhp at 8,750 rpm and a peak torque of 21.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. This engine was mated to a five-speed gearbox.
