BMW Motorrad India has introduced the new R 1300 GS Adventure motorcycle at the Auto Expo 2025. This latest model complements the BMW R 1300 GS, which was launched in 2024 and is designed to be more suitable for adventure riding in India. The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is priced at ₹22.95 lakh ex-showroom, making it slightly more expensive than the standard variant, which is priced at ₹21.20 lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The R 1300 GS Adventure stands out as one of the significant launches at Bharat Mobility 2025.

BMW R 1300 GS Adventure: What's New?

The latest BMW R 1300 GS Adventure introduces numerous enhancements compared to the standard version, optimizing it for touring and adventure purposes. The chassis has undergone a comprehensive redesign, featuring a new steel mainframe with a sheet metal shell and an aluminum lattice tube rear subframe. Additionally, the motorcycle now includes an EVO Telelever equipped with a flex element, while the rear is fitted with an updated EVO Paralever system designed to improve steering accuracy and increase ride stability.

Furthermore, the R 1300 GSA is equipped with advanced features such as Electronic Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA) and an optional adaptive vehicle height control system. A significant modification is the enlarged 30-litre fuel tank, contributing to a more substantial appearance. Other notable attributes encompass four riding modes, full-LED lighting with a Matrix design, and auxiliary lights. The motorcycle also boasts Dynamic Cruise Control with a braking function, an optional Riding Assistant package featuring Active Cruise Control, and collision warning systems. All technological information is presented on a new 6.5-inch TFT display, while the adventure tourer offers conveniences such as Keyless Ride and heated grips.

BMW R 1300 GS Adventure Specifications

The new BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is powered by the same 1300 cc twin-cylinder Boxer engine found in the standard model. The power output remains unchanged at 145 bhp and 149 Nm; however, engineers have reconfigured the transmission box and camshaft drive beneath the engine to create a more compact design. Additionally, the R 1300 GSA features an automatic transmission, marking it as the first BMW motorcycle to offer this option.

Deliveries for the R 1300 GSA are scheduled to commence later this year, positioning the ADV to compete against models such as the Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally and the Triumph Tiger 1200 within its segment.
