BMW & MINI Prices to Rise by Up to 3% from April 2025

The BMW Group will implement a price increase for all BMW and MINI vehicles in India, effective April 1, 2025. The company has announced that prices will rise by as much as three percent across its entire lineup. However, the extent of the increase will differ based on the specific model and variant. BMW offers a diverse selection in India, starting with the BMW 2 Series and extending to the BMW XM. The MINI lineup includes the Cooper S and the latest Countryman model.

BMW & MINI Cars To Get More Expensive

While BMW has not disclosed the specific reasons for this price adjustment, it is likely that escalating input costs have influenced this decision. Notably, the Munich-based manufacturer is the first luxury brand to declare a price increase for the upcoming financial year. In contrast, several mass-market automotive companies, including Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Kia, and Hyundai, have already announced price hikes for their respective models starting in April.

Since the beginning of 2025, BMW has unveiled three significant products: the new-generation X3, the India-specific iX1 LWB, and the new MINI Cooper S JCW Edition.

In India, BMW offers a diverse range of vehicles, including both locally assembled and fully imported models. The locally assembled lineup features the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, 3 Series LWB, 5 Series LWB, 7 Series, X1, X3, X5, X7, M340i, and iX1 LWB. Conversely, the imported models include the BMW i4, i5, i7, iX, Z4 M40i, M2 Coupe, M4 Competition, M4 CS, M5, M8 Competition Coupe, and XM Hybrid SUV, all of which are delivered as Completely Built Units (CBUs). Additionally, the MINI range, which includes the Cooper S and the all-electric Countryman, consists entirely of imported vehicles.

BMW Cars Launched In India In 2025

In terms of new product launches in India for 2025, BMW introduced three models this quarter. The new-generation BMW X3 is priced from ₹75.80 lakh, while the India-specific iX1 LWB is available for ₹49 lakh. The new MINI Cooper S John Cooper Works (JCW) edition has a price tag of ₹55.90 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom). These three models were showcased at the Auto Expo 2025. Deliveries for the new X3 and iX1 LWB began earlier this year, with customers expected to receive the MINI Cooper S JCW starting in April.
