Hyundai to hike prices across model range by up to 3% from April

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has declared that it will raise the prices of its passenger vehicles by up to three percent, starting in April 2025. The South Korean manufacturer attributed this increase to escalating input costs, higher commodity prices, and increased operational expenses, among other contributing factors. The extent of the price increase will vary based on the specific model and variant. Hyundai joins a growing list of automakers implementing price hikes across their product ranges. Previously, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, and Kia announced similar price increases set to take effect next month, with other manufacturers also citing rising input costs as the rationale for their adjustments.

New Dzire enters taxi market, 2025 Maruti Tour S launched at 6.79 lakh

Maruti Suzuki has introduced the 2025 Tour S sedan aimed at fleet operators in India. This model serves as the commercial variant of the latest Maruti Suzuki Dzire, with prices starting at ₹6.79 lakh for the petrol variant and reaching ₹7.74 lakh (ex-showroom) for the CNG version. Initially, Maruti had indicated that the new-generation Dzire would be exclusively available to private customers; however, it appears that the company has adjusted its approach.

Tata Avinya steering wheel design patent filed. Here's how it will look

Tata Motors has submitted a design patent for the steering wheel of the forthcoming Avinya model. This steering wheel differs from those featured in the company's recent vehicle releases. Notably, the Tata Avinya will not include the illuminated Tata logo. The new design will feature a two-spoke steering wheel, complemented by touch-sensitive buttons on the sides that are illuminated. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather and includes controls for cruise control, the Advanced Driver Assistance System, as well as music and call functions.
