Maruti Suzuki cars to be costlier from April

Maruti Suzuki vehicles in India are poised for another price increase. In a regulatory announcement, the car manufacturer revealed that the prices of its passenger vehicles in the country will rise by approximately four percent, effective from April 2025. This marks the third price increase for the brand within this year. Earlier, in January 2025, Maruti Suzuki implemented a four percent price hike, followed by another increase in February. The recent adjustments have seen price increases ranging from one percent to four percent across its vehicle lineup.

Mahindra XUV700 joins black edition bandwagon, gets cosmetic enhancements

The Mahindra XUV700 has recently entered the growing list of SUVs that have been offered in a black edition in the Indian market. Following the Tata Safari, Tata Harrier, and several other models that have also been released in dark or black editions in recent weeks, the Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition was launched in India on March 17. This special edition features cosmetic updates to enhance the SUV's appeal. The starting price for the Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition is ₹19.64 lakh (ex-showroom), with prices reaching up to ₹24.14 lakh (ex-showroom).

2025 Honda Shine 100 launched at 68,767 with a compliant engine

The 2025 Honda Shine 100 has been introduced at a price of ₹68,767 (ex-showroom). This updated version, which complies with OBD-2 regulations and features a refreshed colour scheme, is ₹1,867 more expensive than its predecessor. The Shine 100 has received enhancements, including new graphics on the headlamp cowl, fuel tank, and side fairing. Additionally, the branding has been modified; the Honda wing logo has been removed, and the side fairing now displays "Shine 100" instead of just "Shine."
