Ultraviolette announces its plans

The company revealed that over the next two years, it aims to enter various segments of electric two-wheelers as part of its 'Strategic Product Expansion Plan.'

Triumph Thruxton 400 cafe racer spotted
Triumph Motorcycles is set to expand its 400 cc range this year, having initiated testing of the highly anticipated Thruxton 400 in India. This new model, distinguished by its cafe racer aesthetics, is derived from the Speed 400 and is commonly referred to as the ‘Triumph Thruxton 400’ in online discussions. Following the appearance of prototypes in various international locations in late 2023, the motorcycle has now been spotted in India, indicating a forthcoming launch.
The upcoming Triumph Thruxton 400 showcases a traditional bullet-style semi-fairing affixed to the Speed 400 chassis. The fairing's design bears a close resemblance to that of the Speed 1200 RR. Furthermore, the prototype features clip-on handlebars, a bubble visor, and streamlined contours that seamlessly integrate with the overall design. Notably, Triumph has redesigned the tail section, adding a rear seat cowl to create a unique identity for this model. The modifications also include the presence of bar-end mirrors.
Kia EV4 unveiled
Kia has officially introduced its upgraded electric vehicle lineup with the launch of the EV4 at the 2025 Kia EV Day held in Spain. This model is designed to transform the C-segment by providing both sedan and hatchback options, reflecting a unique perspective on electric mobility. With the EV4, Kia aims to broaden the appeal of electric vehicles beyond the conventional SUV and CUV segments, offering a versatile and engaging choice for urban commuting as well as long-distance journeys.
Built on Kia’s 400V Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV4 comes with two battery options: a standard 58.3 kWh and an extended-range 81.4 kWh. The long-range variant claims an impressive driving range of 630 km on a single charge (WLTP), while the hatchback version can achieve up to 590 km. Equipped with a 150 kW front-mounted motor, the EV4 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in a claimed 7.4 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 170 km/h. Its sophisticated aerodynamic design, which includes a fully covered underbody, results in a low drag coefficient of 0.23 Cd, thereby improving overall efficiency. Furthermore, the vehicle is capable of fast charging, enabling a recharge from 10 to 80 percent in just 31 minutes.
