Auto Highlights for March 4, 2025: TVS Jupiter Launch, Kawasaki Discounts, and More

The car industry moves really fast, making it tough to keep up with everything. But don’t worry, HT Auto is here to provide you with quick updates on the key happenings in the field. Here’s a rundown of the top highlights from Tuesday, March 4.

Kawasaki is rolling out some sweet discounts on their motorcycles

Kawasaki India has rolled out some sweet discounts ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹45,000. The bikes that qualify for these deals include the Eliminator 500, Versys 650, Ninja 300, Ninja 500, Ninja 650, and Z900. These offers kicked off on March 1st and will stick around until March 31st, 2025. The discounts apply to the ex-showroom prices, and the company has mentioned that the voucher amounts include GST as well.

Out of the lineup, the Kawasaki Eliminator 500 has the smallest discount at ₹15,000, while the Versys 650 comes with a ₹30,000 discount. Both the Ninja 300 and Z900 are getting a ₹40,000 discount, and the Ninja 500 and Ninja 650 are leading the pack with a hefty ₹45,000 off.

The 2025 TVS Jupiter 110 has officially hit the market 

TVS Motor Company has launched the 2025 Jupiter 110 in India, starting at ₹76,691 ex-showroom. The only change for this model year is that it now meets OBD2 regulations. The company plans to upgrade its entire range to OBD-2B standards by the end of March 2025.

Skoda Slavia and Kushaq updated

Skoda has rolled out updates for the 2025 models of the Slavia and Kushaq, along with some new pricing. The base and mid-range versions now come with extra features, making them more appealing to a larger group of buyers. The powertrains remain the same, and the overall designs haven’t changed.

For the 2025 Skoda Slavia, the entry-level Classic MT variant starts at ₹10.34 lakh (ex-showroom), which is ₹35,000 less than before. Depending on the variant you choose, the price drop can go up to ₹45,000. Plus, Skoda has added some new premium features to the mid-range models, making the sedan even more attractive to potential buyers.

On the flip side, the 2025 Skoda Kushaq has seen a price bump of up to ₹20,000 for most variants. The Classic trim now starts at ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which is a ₹10,000 increase. The Onyx trim just above it has a similar price rise and now comes with 16-inch alloy wheels. The biggest price jump is for the Signature trim, which has been upgraded and starts at ₹14.88 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 1.0 TSI MT variant. This trim now includes features like auto-dimming interior mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, fog lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a sunroof. Many of these features were previously only available on the Sportline variant and higher, but now they’re more accessible to a wider audience.
