Ola MoveOS 5 Beta sign-up commences

Ola Electric has announced the commencement of registrations for customers interested in participating in the testing of the MoveOS 5 Beta. This information was shared through a post on the company's social media platforms. The beta version of the software is compatible with both Gen 1 and Gen 2 electric scooters, while the newly launched Gen 3 electric scooters are already equipped with MoveOS 5. Although Ola Electric previously indicated that beta testing for MoveOS 5 would start in mid-February, this timeline has been postponed. Currently, there is no information available regarding the launch schedule for the stable version of the software.

In 2025, traffic violations in Delhi surged by over 100% during the Holi celebrations, with the Delhi Traffic Police issuing 7,230 challans on the day of the festival. This represents a significant increase from the 3,589 violations recorded in 2024, raising alarms about adherence to road safety and traffic laws. An official police statement highlighted a marked rise in cases of drunken driving, with 1,213 drivers penalized this year compared to 824 in 2024. Additionally, violations related to helmet use rose by 56%, increasing from 1,524 challans in 2024 to 2,376 in 2025.
