Audi is preparing to introduce its latest sports SUV, the RS Q8 Performance, to the Indian market on February 17, 2025. This model marks a significant update after a five-year interval and will compete with other contemporary high-performance SUVs such as the Lamborghini Urus S and Porsche Cayenne GTS. In advance of the launch, the company has shared multiple teasers of the SUV on its social media platforms.
Audi RS Q8: Exterior
The RS Q8 facelift presents a more assertive design compared to the standard Q8. Notable improvements include a newly designed black grille with a 3D honeycomb pattern and carbon fiber accents on the front lip and air intakes. Enhanced LED Matrix headlights and OLED tail lights provide improved visibility. Furthermore, the SUV comes standard with 22-inch alloy wheels, with an optional upgrade to 23-inch wheels.

Within the cabin, the RS Q8 Performance features a driver-centric cockpit. It is equipped with Sport Seats Plus, which offer enhanced support and comfort, upholstered in Race-Tex material. The dual-screen center console allows for swift access to the RS drive modes, while a four-zone climate control system ensures a pleasant atmosphere inside the vehicle. The driver's instrument cluster is fully digital, providing essential information to the driver.

The forthcoming RS Q8 facelift also incorporates a range of technological enhancements aimed at improving the SUV's handling and stability. These features include adaptive air suspension, active roll stabilization, all-wheel steering, and a Quattro sport differential, all of which work in unison to minimize body roll and understeer.
Audi RS Q8: Engine and performance
The RS Q8 is equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 591 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. The Performance variant elevates these figures to 631 bhp and 850 Nm of torque, surpassing the standard RS Q8. Additionally, a 48V mild-hybrid system aids in improving acceleration. This setup allows the RS Q8 Performance to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.6 seconds, achieving a maximum speed that exceeds 305 km/h.
