Audi India Reports Strong Start to 2025 with 17% Growth and 1,223 Units Sold in Q1

Audi India has announced its sales figures for the first quarter of 2025 (January - March), reporting a total of 1,223 units sold. This marks a 17 percent increase in sales compared to the same period in 2024. The company credits this growth to the strong performance of its popular models, the Q7 and Q8, along with the rest of its lineup.

This notable increase in sales follows Audi's recent milestone of selling 100,000 vehicles in India since its establishment. The automaker indicated that it successfully addressed supply chain challenges that had impacted sales in the previous year, and it aims to leverage the rising demand for luxury vehicles in the Indian market throughout this year.

Audi Q7 and Q8 Drive Growth

In discussing the sales performance for the first quarter of 2025, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, stated, “We are delighted to start 2025 on a strong note with our first-quarter results. This growth compared to the same period last year highlights the trust our customers place in the Audi brand and the robustness of our product lineup. After successfully overcoming supply chain challenges in 2024, we are well-prepared to satisfy the rising demand for luxury mobility in India. Our dedication to providing outstanding products and experiences remains unwavering as we aim for a successful year ahead.”

Regarding Audi’s pre-owned vehicle division, Audi Approved Plus, the company reported a 23 percent increase in volume during the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same quarter in 2024. The used car segment operates across major cities, with 26 facilities throughout India. The brand intends to further enhance its used car network, making its vehicles more accessible to customers at competitive price points.

Audi India boasts a diverse range of offerings, including the A4, A5 Sportback, and A6 sedans, as well as the Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5, Q7, Q8, and the RS Q8. Additionally, the company features a selection of electric vehicles, such as the Q8 e-tron, e-tron Sportback, e-tron GT, and RS e-tron GT. The brand has more models scheduled for release, including the next-generation A5, next-gen Q5, Q6 e-tron, and A6 e-tron, which will soon be available on Indian roads.
