Aston Martin Valhalla: Exterior Design
The exterior of the Valhalla is constructed from carbon fibre, ensuring an optimal balance of performance and weight. Furthermore, these doors are designed with aerodynamic vanes that channel airflow towards the engine and transmission oil coolers, resulting in a 50 per cent improvement in cooling efficiency.
Aston Martin Valhalla: Engine and Performance
The Valhalla is equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, complemented by two front-mounted electric motors, resulting in a hybrid output of 1,064 horsepower and 1,100 Nm of torque. This powerful combination enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2.6 seconds and achieve a maximum speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
The vehicle incorporates Electric All-Wheel-Drive Distribution (E-AWDD), which dynamically adjusts torque between the front and rear axles based on real-time sensor data. This system is part of the Integrated Vehicle Dynamics Control (IVDC), ensuring that each wheel receives optimal power for enhanced grip and stability across diverse driving conditions. The IVDC offers three driving modes: ESP-On, ESP-Race, and ESP-Off. Furthermore, the car is equipped with Torque Vectoring (E-TV), which fine-tunes torque distribution between the front wheels to enhance both agility and stability.
