The Kia Syros has recently made its debut in the sub-compact SUV market, with a starting price of ₹9 lakh, ex-showroom. Notably, the HTK Plus variant, which is the third tier in the lineup and priced at ₹11.50 lakh, ex-showroom, includes a panoramic sunroof, making it the most affordable vehicle in India to offer this feature. Additionally, the Syros HTK Plus is equipped with a 12.30-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless phone connectivity, a reverse camera with dynamic guidelines, power-adjustable mirrors and windows, rear air conditioning vents, door curtains, four Type-C USB charging ports, 16-inch alloy wheels, and rear reclining seats.

2 Tata Curvv  

The Tata Curvv has emerged as a new contender in the highly competitive compact SUV segment. To distinguish itself, the Tata Curvv showcases a coupe SUV design complemented by a comprehensive array of features. The Pure Plus S trim, which is the third variant from the base and priced at ₹11.87 lakh, ex-showroom, stands out as the most affordable compact SUV to include a panoramic sunroof, making it the second most economical option available. Furthermore, it boasts a 17.78 cm touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, fully automatic climate control, a four-speaker audio system, electrically adjustable and auto-folding exterior mirrors, reverse camera park assist, steering-mounted controls, Bluetooth connectivity, voice command functionality, a shark fin antenna, a leather gear selector, paddle shifters (for automatic transmission variants), electric temperature control, an armrest, USB mobile chargers, tyre pressure monitoring, stylish wheel covers, and touch-based HVAC controls.

3 MG Astor  

The MG Astor, initially introduced in 2021, has recently undergone enhancements with the addition of new features and updated variants. Among these improvements, MG has incorporated a panoramic sunroof into the Astor package, starting from the second base model, known as the Shine variant. The Astor Shine is priced at ₹12.48 lakh, ex-showroom. It is equipped with a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, and it also features a six-speaker audio system.

4 Mahindra XUV 3XO  

The Mahindra XUV 3XO is another notable sub-compact SUV on the market. This model includes a panoramic sunroof in its top-tier AX7 variants, which commence at a price of ₹12.57 lakh, ex-showroom. In addition to the panoramic sunroof, the sub-compact SUV boasts two 10.25-inch digital displays for both the infotainment system and the instrument cluster, supporting wireless Android Auto and wired Apple CarPlay. Mahindra has also integrated the Adrenox Connect platform for enhanced smartphone connectivity. Other features include dual-zone climate control, a six-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, multiple charging ports, and a cooled glove compartment.

5 Hyundai Creta  

Since its debut in 2015, the Hyundai Creta has consistently been the leading compact SUV in the Indian market. Following a facelift in 2024, the company has recently refreshed the Creta lineup with additional features and variants. The 2025 update introduces a new EX(O) trim level, positioned third from the base variant. This new trim includes a panoramic sunroof and LED reading lights within the cabin. The pricing for this variant starts at ₹12.97 lakh ex-showroom for the petrol model and ₹14.56 lakh ex-showroom for the diesel variant. Additionally, the IVT petrol variant and the automatic transmission for the diesel engine are priced at ₹14.37 lakh and ₹15.96 lakh, respectively.
