Madhuri Dixit and her spouse, Dr. Sriram Nene, have added the latest Ferrari 296 GTS supercar to their expanding collection of vehicles. The actress was observed exiting what seems to be the Ferrari dealership in Mumbai, where she was photographed by the paparazzi while entering the passenger seat, with Dr. Nene at the controls. The Ferrari 296 GTS is regarded as one of the most desirable supercars available, with a price tag exceeding ₹6 crore (ex-showroom).

Madhuri Dixit's New Ferrari 296 GTS

The Ferrari 296 GTS represents the convertible version of the 296 GTB. The renowned couple chose this latest Ferrari in the striking Rosso Corsa (red) colour, complemented by yellow brake calipers. The design variations between the coupe and the convertible are slight, with only minor adjustments made to facilitate the open-top configuration. In comparison to the 296 GTB, the 296 GTS features a redesigned rear and a more pronounced transition between the roof and the aerodynamic bridge.

The Ferrari 296 GTS features an active rear spoiler that is concealed within the tail, deploying at increased speeds to enhance downforce. This mid-engined supercar can open or close its roof in a mere 14 seconds, even while travelling at speeds of up to 45 km/h. The roof is conveniently stored in the area located behind the front seats.

The primary focus regarding the Ferrari 296 GTS is its innovative powertrain, which features a hybrid configuration. This system includes a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 655 bhp, complemented by a rear-mounted electric motor capable of generating 164 bhp. The total power output reaches 819 bhp, accompanied by a peak torque of 740 Nm. This powertrain is integrated with an 8-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission. As a mid-engined hybrid supercar, the 296 GTS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and achieves a maximum speed of 330 km/h. In comparison to its coupe counterpart, the 296 GTS is approximately 70 kg heavier, with a total weight of 1,540 kg.
