The FZ-S Fi Hybrid features a design that is both balanced and assertive, characterized by a more sculpted tank cover with sharper contours than its predecessor. This refinement contributes to a sleeker appearance for the motorcycle, enhancing its overall proportions.

Moreover, a notable enhancement for the 2025 FZ-S is the incorporation of front turn signals within the air intake section, which improves both aerodynamics and aesthetic appeal.

2 Hybrid technology

A 149cc Blue Core engine powers the motorcycle, designed to meet the OBD-2B standards. This E20 compliant powertrain generates 12.2 bhp at 7,250 rpm and delivers 13.3 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.

The engine incorporates advanced technologies, including Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) and Stop & Start System (SSS), which facilitate battery-assisted acceleration, quieter engine starts, and enhanced fuel efficiency by automatically turning off the engine during idle periods.

3 Features

The 4.2-inch full-color TFT instrument cluster integrates effortlessly with smartphones through the Y-Connect application. It provides Turn-by-Turn (TBT) navigation utilizing Google Maps, showcasing real-time directions, intersection information, and road names to enhance the riding experience.

Furthermore, the fuel tank is now equipped with an airplane-style fuel cap that remains attached during refueling, ensuring greater convenience.

4 Improved ergonomics

Yamaha has enhanced the handlebar positioning to provide greater comfort, especially during extended journeys. Furthermore, the handlebar controls have been adjusted for more convenient access, even when gloves are worn, and the horn switch has been moved to facilitate better usability.

5 Dimensions and colour options

The 2025 Yamaha FZ-S FI Hybrid has dimensions of 2,000 mm in length and 780 mm in width. Its height stands at 1,080 mm, with a wheelbase of approximately 1,330 mm. The motorcycle boasts a ground clearance of 163 mm and a seat height of 790 mm.

This model is offered in two color options: Racing Blue and Cyan Metallic Grey.
