The updated XC60 features a fresh front look with a new grille design. Volvo switched out the old vertical slats for a more contemporary diagonal style. The front bumper has updated air vents, and the SUV now comes with new alloy wheels. At the back, the taillights have a smoked finish, giving it a more aggressive appearance.

Volvo has added some fresh colors to the XC60 lineup, introducing Forest Lake and Aurora Silver. Plus, the beloved Mulberry Red from other Volvo models is now making its way to this SUV too.

The XC60 facelift keeps the same dashboard design we know but adds some nice tweaks for a more upscale vibe. You’ll notice some cool upgrades, like the new Quilted Nordico upholstery and Navy Herringbone Weave, which really elevate the luxury factor. 

Volvo hasn't officially announced any updates to the XC60's powertrain, but it's likely that they'll stick with the current engine options. This lineup features a 2.0-liter turbo petrol (Mild Hybrid) that delivers 246 bhp and 350 Nm of torque, along with a 2.0-liter twin-turbo Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) that boasts an impressive 449 bhp and 640 Nm of torque. Right now, the mild-hybrid version is available in India, while the PHEV is a hit in international markets.

The SUV boasts a bigger 11.2-inch freestanding touchscreen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, ensuring sharper visuals, over-the-air updates, and quicker processing speeds.

On top of that, Volvo has made the interiors quieter, added clever storage solutions, and improved wireless phone charging. Plus, there's an optional Bowers & Wilkins sound system and advanced air purification tech for an enhanced cabin experience. You can also opt for air suspension and laminated windows.

The Volvo XC60 is one of the brand's top sellers around the world and has a solid fan base in India. The updated version is anticipated to hit the market in 2025, packed with all the newest features. In the meantime, Volvo is ramping up its electric vehicle lineup and is gearing up to bring the EX30 and EX90 electric SUVs to India soon. Plus, the facelifted Volvo XC90 is scheduled to launch in India on March 4, 2025.
