Triumph Motorcycles has officially unveiled the 2025 Speed Twin 900 motorcycle in India today, with a starting price of ₹8.89 lakh (ex-showroom). This latest model features a more dynamic design along with several aesthetic enhancements, reflecting an increase of approximately ₹40,000 compared to its previous version. The introduction of the Speed Twin 900 in India comes roughly two months after its global launch. Triumph has commenced bookings for the new motorcycle and has announced that it will be accessible at dealerships for test rides by the end of this month.
2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900: Key changes
The 2025 version of the Triumph Speed Twin 900 motorcycle has undergone several design enhancements. Notable updates include the introduction of upside-down forks, a sport-style mudguard, and fork protectors at the front. Additionally, it features a newly fabricated aluminum swingarm and piggy-back rear suspension units at the rear, along with a narrower rear frame that incorporates a sleeker mudguard and a compact tail-light. The bench seat has been elevated to 780 mm and has been redesigned to provide improved comfort for the rider during cornering.
Triumph is offering the updated Speed Twin 900 in three distinct color options: Pure White with blue and orange stripes, Phantom Black with dark grey stripes and gold accents, and Aluminium Silver with red framing around the Triumph logo.
Regarding features, Triumph has upgraded the previous analogue display to a modern TFT instrument cluster that provides information on revs, speed, and gear selection. This screen also includes Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and the capability to make phone calls and access music from smartphones. Additionally, the motorcycle is equipped with a USB-C socket for charging smartphones.
2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900: Engine, ride modes
Triumph has not introduced any mechanical modifications to the 2025 Speed Twin 900. It remains equipped with a 900 cc engine that delivers a maximum power output of 64 bhp at 7,500 rpm and generates 80 Nm of torque at 3,800 rpm. The motorcycle is paired with a 6-speed transmission. Additionally, it provides two riding modes—Road and Rain—to assist riders in various riding conditions. Triumph is also offering a Cruise Control feature as an optional accessory for the Speed Twin 900.
